ANCESTRAL LIMA TOUR
The Huaca Pucllana is an archaeological site built in the fourth century B.C. And we will have a panoramic view of this magnificent ceremonial and administrative center considered by the Incas as a holy village. We will know their lifestyle, the rituals of its ancient inhabitants and the typical pyramid edifications characteristic on sacred and venerated pre-Hispanic constructions of the coast of Peru.
TOUR OF LIMA COLONIAL
The Viceroyalty of Peru was the most important Spanish Inca Empire and Lima was its capital. In its historic center, highlights the architecture and urban design of that period, old streets with colonial mansions Moorish-style balconies. Our trip includes the “Walk of the Republic”, San Martin’s Square and Major Square, with their different buildings: Government Palace of Peru, Archbishop’s Palace, the Basilica Cathedral and the Municipal Palace. In the historic center we shall visit one of its most beautiful buildings, the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank, where the Treasures of Peru are appreciated: A carefully selected exhibition of gold objects, ceramics and textils of various pre-Columbian cultures, from its origins even from the Incas, which cautivates and impress our visitors.
We enter the monumental Convent of San Francisco, which is the largest exhibition of religious art in America. The Coral Room and Library from the Monks, the Sacristy, with its collection from Zurbaran and Rivera’s canvas painting.The Big Patio of the Main Cloister, decorated with Seville tiles of XVI century, its beautiful Moorish arches and its subterranean crypts known as the Catacombs, where you feel the presence of the colonial’s past.

El Virreinato del Perú fue el más importante del Imperio Inca Español y Lima fue su capital. En su Centro Histórico destaca la arquitectura y el trazo urbano de ese período, en viejas calles con mansiones coloniales de balcones de estilo morisco. Nuestro recorrido incluye el Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín y la Plaza Mayor, con sus distintivas edificaciones: Palacio de Gobierno del Peru, el Palacio Arzobispal, la Basílica Catedr al y el Palacio Municipal. En el centro histórico visitamos uno de sus más bellos edificios, el Museo del Banco Central de Reserva, donde se aprecian los Tesoros del Perú: un a selecta exposición de objetos de oro, cerámica y textiles de diversas culturas pre-colombinas, desde sus orígenes hasta los Incas, que cautiva e impresiona a nuestros visitantes.
Ingresamos al monumental Convento de San Francisco, que constituye la mayor muestra del arte religioso colonial en América. Se aprecian La Sala Coral y La Biblioteca de los Monjes, la Sacristía, con su colección de lienzos de Zurbarán y Rivera. El Gran Patio del Claustro Principal, decorado finamente con azulejos sevillanos del siglo XVI, sus bellos arcos moriscos y las Criptas Subterráneas, conocidas como las Catacumbas, donde sentirá la presencia del pasado colonial.
